  1. “H.G Wells”– A Collection of 6 Novels by H.G Wells.  Edition from Canterbury Classics.  The perfect gift-worthy book for any science fiction lover.  H.G. Wells has become an iconic symbol of Science Fiction and his works such as “The Time Machine” and “The War of the Worlds” are known as classics.  This edition is leather bound with a silver embossed cover and spine that literally shines.  It’s gorgeous.  If science fiction isn’t your book nerd’s thing, Canterbury Classics has many other gorgeous editions to choose from.
  2. “Emma” by Jane Austen, Introduced by Fay Weldon, Illustrated by Sam Wolfe Connelly and “A Memoir of Jane Austen” by J.E. Austen-Leigh, introduced by Fay Weldon.  Editions from Folio Society.  Jane Austen is one of those authors that has an incredibly loyal and dedicated following of book nerds everywhere.  I know that I am definitely one of them.  The Folio editions of these books are done in gorgeously glimmering gold covers and have the most incredible illustrations inside.  If your particular Jane Austen fan has a set already, I’m convinced they would still be thrilled with these.  But, if your worried, you can always pick up “A Memoir of Jane Austen” which is a biography on Jane written by a nephew of hers.  Amazing right?  And less well known so there is a better chance your receiver doesn’t have it already. (And again all of their editions are stunning and “gift worthy”.)
  3. “Animal Kingdom: Color Me, Draw Me” by Millie Marotta. Okay, okay, you caught me. This isn’t a book for reading, its an adult coloring book.  However, it is still a book and it is absolutely incredible!  I fell in love with these coloring books a couple years back and think they are just incredible.  They make a great gift for the Book Nerd who “has everything” or if you want to just go out on a limb and try and be original.  If you really want bonus points include a quality set of coloring pencils.  This Prisma Color set of 48 is my favorite to use because it blends so beautifully.
  4. “Other-Wordly: Words Both Strange and Lovely from Around the World” By Yee-Lum Mak, Illustrations by Kelsey Garrity-Riley  There is something that every book nerd most definitely  has in common and that is a love for words.  This delightful little book is a new release that features beautiful and unique words from all over the world that have the most pleasing meanings.  For example: “Mamihlapinatapai (noun, Yaghan) the look shared by two people who have reached an understanding or who desire the same thing but each wish that the other would offer it first.” Brilliant right?  Plus, it is fully illustrated and stunning.
  5. “The Bronte Sisters” by the Bronte Sisters.  Edition from Barnes and Noble Classics.  The Barnes and Noble Classics collection is definitely swoon-worthy.  They are leather bound and designed with a style that matches the overall feel of the story they contain.  This book happens to be one of my favorites of the bunch because it has one of the most incredible spines and covers I have ever seen.  Plus, it harbors Jane Eyre.  Check out their collection for some other gorgeous titles as well.
  6. “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” by J.K. Rowling, Illustrated by Jim Kay and “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Original Screenplay” by J.K.Rowling.  I can’t do a book nerd gift guide without including something for my fellow Pottermore friends.  The illustrated “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” just came out this October and is absolutely, positively incredible!  Seriuosly, I can’t imagine a Potter fan being disappointed by it.  Also, the “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Original Screenplay” just came out this month so it is brand-spanking new.   Needless to say it is a coveted book in the Potter fan world and would also make a perfect gift.
