A Bookish Gift Guide for Moms!

This post is done in partnership with multiple brands where I received a portion of the items shown at no cost. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I have SO much fun sharing and discovering books through Book Nerd Mommy and along with books some of my favorite things that I have discovered are amazing bookish products.  They make my book nerd heart so happy and I am so excited to share some of my favorite bookish things with you in this list.  I love each one of these items and swear by how awesome they are. Check them out for the bookish mamas in your life or use this list to conveniently drop a hint to someone.  Hey, we all do it sometimes right?! haha

  1. Saranoni Ivory Stripe Home Throw Blanket– Oh my goodness!  The softness you guys! I had a hard time getting out of bed when reading a good book already, but the huge coziness upgrade this blanket gives my reading experience brings that difficulty up to a whole new level.  It is the stuff dreams are made of and I am kind of addicted.  I can’t imagine a book nerd out there who wouldn’t want to cuddle up with this blanket and a book! I have currently been carrying it with me from room to room in my house.  In addition, pro tip, get the largest size possible.  Your welcome. 🙂  Also, happy dance, Saranoni has offered my readership a discount coupon code!  It is BOOKNERDMOMMY15 and runs through May 13th until midnight! Run!
  2. Jane Austen Collectors Series from Folio Society– Like millions of other book nerds out there I am a ginormous Jane Austen fan.  I feel that a gorgeous Austen set is an absolute must to complete any home library and this set is one of my favorite ones that I own.  Each detail from the swoon-worthy covers to the shiny, linen, gold covers to the stunning illustrations in each book is incredible.  A perfect tribute to such believed classics and sure to purely delight any Austen fan.  Seriously, I can’t praise these books enough!
  3. Bookish Goodies Like Totes, Pins and Prints from Ideal Bookshelf -Ideal bookshelf is one of those bookish brands where I am completely crushing on pretty much everything I see in their shop.  The artwork has the most whimsical details and I love seeing my favorite titles featured on their goodies such as pins, tote bags and prints.  The tote bag pictured is their 7 Girl Stars design and I just adore the beautiful editions of some of my favorite books on it.  The prints also feature everything from picture books to classics and you can even get a customized print done with your own favorite titles.  Everything I’ve received from them is of the upmost quality and I recommend them whole-heartedly!
  4. Mama Life Unisex Jogger Sweatpants from Handpressed With Love– I got these joggers in the charcoal and they are so comfy!  Seriously!  The inside is super soft and I could just live in them all day.  Since becoming a mom my “momiform” often consists of a top knot and joggers so when I spotted these with their “Mama Life” on them I was in love.  They really do embody “mama life” for me and they are the perfect comfs to wear when delving into a good book.  Because, who wants to have a long reading session in jeans! Am I right?!
  5. New Hermione Bookmark from My Bookmark-Meet my new favorite bookmark!  It was instant love when I first saw the bookmarks from My Bookmark and it was so hard to pick a design to try out. I loved them all! Finally I settled on the New Hermione Bookmark and I wasn’t disappointed when it arrived.  The packaging is fantastic and perfectly “gift worthy” and the bookmark itself is really strong and top quality.  I get the biggest kick out of seeing Hermione’s legs popping up out of my book and think it is pretty much the greatest.  I know this bookmark won’t be my last from My Bookmark and have already purchased one to gift to a book nerd friend of mine.  I’m so excited! Also, another happy dance, My Bookmark has also offered a discount code!  This one is for -20% and is WOWBOOKMARK.  It will not work on sales items and can be used on their website or Etsy shop.  Also, it is valid until May 31st.
  6. Gift Card For Barnes and Noble-One thing that you can always count on when getting a gift for a book nerd is that they will love books.  That means that a gift card to their favorite book store can never go wrong.  If you don’t know what their favorite bookstore is Barnes and Noble is a good bet.  For one thing, there is a great chance it is one of their favorites and even if its not it is pretty much guaranteed they will have a book that will interest them.  I mean, who doesn’t love Barnes and Noble and what book nerd can’t find a book that interests them when there are hundreds to choose from?!  See, safe bet for a delightful gift.
