Cat Knit

“Cat Knit” by Jacob Grant

I am a big cat person.  I always have been.  Don’t get me wrong, I love dogs too, but cats and I seem to  have an understanding.  Maybe its because we share a mutual love of independence and introvert behaviors.    Either way, when I saw the cover of this book I just knew that this grumpy kitty was one I wanted to know the story behind.  I wasn’t disappointed.

It is the story of a cat that falls in love with a ball of yarn that his person brings home one day.  The two of them are inseparable friends and have a lot of fun together.  However, one day their relationship changes when the cat’s human friend knits the yarn into a sweater.  The cat has some adjusting to do, but eventually learns that while some new changes may take some “warming up to” they can turn out wonderful in the end.  This book is short on text, big on personality, and so much fun to read.
