Finger Print Princesses and Fairies and 100 Other Magical Creatures

Finger Print Princesses and Fairies and 100 other Magical Creatures.  Illustrations by Ilona Molnar

So I have a confession, I LOVE creating these little finger print animals and people!  I knew I loved coloring books and jumped on the adult coloring book trend a couple years back when it started and am still happily coloring away, but I wasn’t expecting to love finger printing too!  It is so much fun and I am thrilled by the results I can achieve with such little artistic talent.  Seriously, these are so easy and turn out so cute!

Quarto books sent me this book (Finger Print Princesses and Fairies and 100 other Magical Creatures) and I dove in almost immediately.  My little guy is too tiny still to really give this a go, but he loved making his own finger print art alongside me in his own toddler fashion. Together we had a lot of fun.  I love how this book is set up with finger print tips in the beginning and then organized into step by step illustrations that will guide you through different groupings of finger print art.  The ones I have done in these photos are from the Peter Pan pages and they were my absolute favorite!  I also love the Snow White and other fairy tale pages as well as the fairy scenery section.  Don’t be fooled by the title of this book into thinking that it is only for girls, or only for children for that matter (wink wink).  This book is one that can be enjoyed by everyone!
