“Snoozefest” by Samantha Berger and Kristyna Litten
Gosh we are in love with this bedtime story and little sloth! It’s one of those books where you just want to squeal with delight at the cuteness on every page and one that your kids will have you begging and begging to read again because of the delicious writing. It is the story of Snuggleford Cuddlbun who is an expert sleeper and looks forward to her yearly trek to the great Snoozefest. The Snoozefest is the slumber party of all slumber parties where everyone comes in their pajamas with their favorite stuffie to watch the pajama fashion show and then listen to lullaby bands perform as they drift to sleep.
Never have I seen such a sleep celebration and we are completely charmed by this book. Krisyna’s idea for this story is genius and her writing makes it a fabulous read aloud perfect for bedtime. Plus Samantha’s illustrations are the cutest. Here’s hoping this duo collaborates for more books in the future!

“Hartley” Sloth from Slumberkins
I was beyond thrilled when Slumberkins agreed to work with me for this post. I have been eyeing their gorgeous sloths and big foots for a while now and was already in puppy love. However, after I was introduced to Snuggleford Cuddlebun in “Snoozefest” I had fallen head over heels. In my mind these two belonged together.
When our Hartley Sloth arrived my daughters eyes light up the second she saw her and the two have been inseparable at bedtime ever since. These sloths are every bit as soft in person as they look in photos and more. I think that is my daughters favorite part about them. Plus, it is wonderful how flat they are which makes them perfect for cuddling, easy to take along in a diaper bag, and unobtrusive for sleeping toddlers.
Also, another great thing about these sloths is that each one comes with a downloadable Sleepytime Rhyme which brings another soothing and therapeutic aspect to their products. These rhymes are meant to be recited with your child at bedtime to help them relax for sleep and fell more confident and comfortable at bedtime. I couldn’t be happier with this company and our sloth and I couldn’t be happier that my little girl adores them too. Now the sloth and story are both beloved treasures in our home.
