My little guy is totally in love with music.  He has a whole bunch of songs already memorized at barely 3 years old and one of my favorite things to hear is his little voice singing them in his room as he is falling asleep.   So sweet!   I want to encourage his love for music and I am trying to keep  him stocked up on some really great songs.  The only problem is, I am kinda picky when it comes to children’s music because if I am going to be hearing it eighty-million times a day and getting it stuck in my head, then for the sake of my own sanity it needs to be music I can enjoy as well.

This is why I was thrilled when Sylvie contacted me about receiving her album.  I was so excited because I looked up a few of her songs on her website and loved them so I told her to send it over.  It is everything I was hoping for.  My little guy loves it and I definitely approve.  Her songs have a light and happy feel with lyrics that are encouraging and wonderful.  On the sheet she sent me with the album she states that this album is “a collection of feel-good songs aimed to encourage self love, imagination, friendship, and good-old-fashioned fun.”  I agree wholeheartedly that it is just that.

The album comes with a booklet that has the lyrics for each song inside along with some whimsical illustrations.  It makes a fun companion to the CD because it is fun to read with littles, or older children can read along with the music.  Perfect.  Below is a peek inside the book and to hear her songs click on her website below.
